Kesari Shahi Tukda
1/2 medium-sized loaf of sliced bread
1 cup of ghee (clarified butter)
3 tablespoons of sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons sandesh cream for topping
Pistachios to garnish
Safinter saffron garnish
Varq (silver leaf) to garnish
Cut each slice of bread into four pieces.
Deep fry the slices in ghee on a low heat until brown.
Prepare sugar syrup by boiling the sugar with water.
Soak the bread slices in the sugar syrup for two to three minutes.
Remove and keep aside.
On each bread slice add the topping of sandesh cream and varq, then garnish with SAFINTER saffron threads and pista.
