Villa Manodori Traditional Balsamico Extra Vecchio (extra old) is submitted to the Consortuim of Modena in Italy only after aging at least 12 years. Maturing in wood barrels of chestnut, juniper and oak, the high quality grape must (unfermented juice from grapes) evolve into inky-black vinegar with a thick syrupy texture, and unmistakable rich sweet flavor, with just the right amount of acidity. Use Villa Manodori traditional balsamic sparingly to accent a plate or serve at the end of a meal as a digestive. Limited annual production, packaged in authentic consortium-approved glass and gift boxed.
